"Vietnamese Rice Fiber Festival" for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City The first Vietnamese Rice Fiber Festival in 2025 with the theme "Delicious dishes from vermicelli" has nearly 100 booths, converging delicious dishes from all over the country and many other attractive activities. The first "Vietnamese rice fiber festival - delicious dishes from vermicelli" in 2025 will take place from November 20-23 at September 23 park (Ben Thanh ward, Ho Chi Minh City). According to the organizers, the festival will have many attractive activities including: a check-in space with a flour mill and 3 bowls of noodles including: pho, vermicelli with fish sauce, and Hue beef vermicelli with a diameter of 80 cm. Traditional craft space with performances of making silkworm cakes, making vermicelli in the traditional way, recreating the old kitchen with rice mills, flour mills... Visitors can enjoy and work with the artisans. At the festival, a record of 100 delicious dishes made from rice fibers and Nguyen Binh vermicelli will be established by the Chefs' Association, Center for Research on Conservation and Development of Vietnamese Cuisine in the form of professional chef teams of the Vietnam Federation of Chefs' Associations, registering dishes and having competitions and awards. Besides, there is also a culinary experience space with many stalls including extremely attractive dishes such as Hanoi vermicelli, fish ball vermicelli, Hue beef vermicelli, snail vermicelli, vermicelli vermicelli, vermicelli with fish sauce, pho Bac, banh canh, banh tam... and an OCOP area to serve shopping visitors. In addition, there is also a folk game space with many attractive and diverse games serving many ages, and animation programs for children. The festival's organizing committee said it has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to ensure that all units participating in the event have food safety and hygiene certificates.
